    After ten years in the Army, I left active duty about two and half years ago but stayed in the Reserves because part of me was afraid to completely cut the cord.     My Reassessment of Captain America

    Chris Evans tweeted over two weeks ago (look at me with the timely reaction piece ;p) that he had wrapped up filming on Avengers 4, describing it as an emotional day.  Now, I know it’s incredibly unlikely but I’m really hoping Steve Rogers might still have occasional cameos in the future Marvel film universe. More importantly, I hope he isn’t killed in the final struggle with Thanos, but we’ll see what happens.  I mostly hope Steve Rogers gets a peaceful retirement and a chance to enjoy himself rather than sacrificing his life to save others and yet, I am sure Rogers would want his death to mean something.  Still, he strikes me…
